 A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Mel relocated to Miami, FL to pursue her passion in film aiming to work in a global market. In the recent years she co-founded Ginga to continue to strengthen the creation of bridges between countries in order to encourage collaboration and help bring voice to powerful untold stories from around the globe.

 Ever since then Ginga has a feature film in pre-production in collaboration with Globo Filmes and Universal Pictures, and has produced most of Anitta’s projects in the US and abroad including music videos such as Boys Don’t Cry, Dançarina Remix with Nicky Jam and El Que Espera with Maluma.
